Hey, I'm Aurimas koval
Product designer
Six years designing, three of those in product. I work solo - direct line to me, no agency layer.
Background in PR and communications. That's where the strategy half comes from. I treat positioning as the first design problem.
What I've worked on
Audited the Viena Sąskaita mobile app - the Baltic region's largest household bills service, 150k+ monthly users. Plus product design and platform builds for clients in legal, real estate, and financial services.
Core disciplines
Product strategy
Before anything is designed, we agree on what the product is, who it's for, and what makes it different. Most teams skip this step and try to fix the result with UI later. It doesn't work.
Interface and system design
Custom UI built on rules. Type, color, spacing, and behaviour follow a logic that holds up across every screen and every state - not just the ones in the Figma file. Engineering gets specs, not screenshots.
Audits and repositioning
Existing product, something's off. I find what's broken - usually it's not what you think - and write a plan to fix it. Most useful when the product works but isn't growing the way it should.
Marketing sites
Built in Framer or Webflow. For founders who need a site that converts without burning months of engineering time.
How I work
Length - 1-3 months for most builds. Up to 6 for Audits and repositioning.
Process - In parallel with engineering. Handoffs are real specs - variables, components, states - not flat screens.
Structure - Solo. You work with me directly.
