Context
Layout work across multiple titles for a Lithuanian publishing house. Worked in InDesign on the typographic system, image placement, and content review, and coordinated directly with print houses to assure quality on press.
Role
Layout designer and print-production liaison. Spans the design and the manufacturing — the page layout is only half the job; the other half is making sure what comes off the press matches what was approved.
Viskas Praeina… Nepraeina!
Aldona Kazlauskaitė balsevičienė
A memoir from a ninety-year resident of Juodkrantė. The layout had to carry long-form personal reflection without breaking the reading rhythm.

Manekenas
Loreta Liutkutė
A novel about a young woman navigating violence, exclusion, and self-discovery. Restrained typography and a neutral grid so the prose could land on its own.

Meškos ausy
Nijolė Kliukaitė - Kepenienė
A family history tracing the Kondratavičiai line through generations. The layout's job was clear hierarchy across genealogical density.

Žvilgsnis iš maišo
Edmundas Untulis
A novel about a young woman navigating violence, exclusion, and self-discovery. Restrained typography and a neutral grid so the prose could land on its own.

Final note
The work that doesn't show in a portfolio is on the phone with a printer explaining why the body copy is darker than it should be, or going to the print house to check a proof in person. That's where books actually get well-made.
